Better Than TV 24 Hour Event - 23th October 2010

The Better Than TV Free 24 Hour Event scheduled for October 2010 will be held in an area in the Wellington region - venue and location to be sort of confirmed in October the week before the event. "Sort of" means that the course will still be a secret until release date (hell - we may even keep a secret during the race). Required maps will also be published the week before the event as well.

This year, you won't even need a support crew.

AND..this year we will have a 6 hour option for teams as well.

Entries for this event will close on 16th October 2010. This will be enforced. While the event is free there is still the normal planning etc that goes on for an event of this type. So - if you cannot find a few suckers to band together and do the event with you by then you are out of luck. In the registration process we are asking you for your email details as leading up to the event we will be putting out regular updates via email. We can tell you now that you will need to be able to navigate (off track navigation), will need to able to mountainbike (including carrying your bike) and will need to be able to suck it in when the going gets (and it will get) tough.

the Free 24 Hour Event is exactly that - an Event. We are providing you the opportunity to undertake an organised 24 hour training activity. You set the pace at which you wish to do the event at.
